Opening Condition[]

The queen has reached Lv.25 and the server is open for season or in the Sign-up Period for the first time

Function Entry[]

Building: Evolution Meteorite (upgradeable), enter the evolution function of the special ant through this building.

Special Ant Evolution Systems[]

The December 18, 2023 Scheduled Maintenance added a second Special Ant Evolution Systems, Explorer, to the game. Additionally, the UI of the building strongly suggests there are 2 more Systems that will be added to the game in future updates. Each of these Special Ant Evolution Systems, that we know of, has their own independent bonuses/buffs, challenge, special ants, and special leaf and crystal resources. For example, the Pioneer system uses Exotic Leaf and Meteorite Crystal as it's primary and secondary resource for upgrading while the Explorer uses Red-veined Leaf and Pyroxene Crystal instead.

Evolution Activation and Selection[]

  1. At the current stage, there are 6 special ant slots in each System, each corresponding to the exclusive special ant, and some slots are corresponding to multiple special ants. The ruler can only select one of them to evolve (no specialized ant can choose).
  2. For the special ant corresponding to the fixed slot, if the ruler already owns it, the slot will be directly activated and open for upgrade and ascent; if the ruler does not own it, the slot position will be grayed out, and the upgrade and ascent of the special ant will not be available.
  3. The non-fixed slot will be lit by default, and some special ants are lit up in priority.
  4. The special ants owned by the ruler in the fixed slots and the special ants selected by the ruler in the non-fixed slots are considered to be in the evolution-activated status; the special ants not selected are considered to be in the inactive status.
  5. Evolved special ants will provide global attribute buffs. When switching evolved special ants, the provided attributes will also be switched accordingly. The evolution level will not be inherited, and the evolution level of each special ant is independent.

Evolution Level Upgrade[]

  1. The special ants in the evolution-activated state will open the evolution level upgrade.
  2. To upgrade the evolution level, you need to consume leaf resources of that system (i.e. exotic for Pioneer or Red-veined for Explorer). After each successful upgrade, the consumed leaves will gradually increase.
  3. In the evolution upgrade interface, you can check the comparison of the global attributes before and after the evolution upgrade. 4. The global attributes provided by each special ant are different.
  4. Evolution-level upgrades are not included in the strongest warzone event points.
  5. Special ants that have been upgraded in evolution level will maintain the evolution level if the ruler decompose them.

Ascent[]

  1. After a system's special ants in the activated evolution state reach the upper limit of the level, that system's ascent will be opened.
  2. The ascents of special ants require the corresponding crystals of that system. After the ascent is successful, a higher evolution level limit will be opened, and the value of attributes will be increased at the same time.
  3. After each successful ascent, the color of the quality-frame changes. (White Quality → Green Quality → Blue Quality → Purple Quality → Orange Quality → Red Quality)
  4. Ascents are not counted in the strongest warzone event points.

Evolution Level Conversion[]

  1. Rulers can convert the evolution levels of two special ants.
  2. Only special ants in the same evolution slot can perform evolution level conversion (the conversion has a cooldown of 7 days for each slot)
  3. Special ants cannot be converted if they are in the state of marching or deploying.
  4. When converting the evolution level, you can choose a special ant that has an evolution level but has been decomposed.

Evolution Skill[]

  1. When the number of ascents of the 6 special ants activated reaches the specified requirement, evolution skills will be gained.
  2. When the number of ascents of the 6 special ants activated reaches the specified requirement, the effect of the evolution skills will be improved and the color of the quality will also change, which is consistent with the evolution ascent colors of the special ants.
  3. When the number of ascents of the 6 special ants activated reaches the specified requirement, the lava core can be consumed to perform a global upgrade and obtain additional global attributes.
  4. The improvement of evolution skill quality does not require manual operation by the ruler, and it will be automatically improved when the requirements are met.
  5. Each squad can only equip 1 evolution skill and 1 evolution skill can be equipped by multiple squads at the same time.

Ascend[]

Each system has the ability to ascend (not to be confused with Ascent) by spending a set number of Lava Cores. This is the third type of special resources used at the meteorite, but unlike how the Leaf and Crystal resources have a unique version for each system, there is only one type of Lava Core that each system shares use of. Below is the cost and bonus attributes received at each level when you Ascend.

Individual Special Ant Evolution Systems[]

There are currently only 2 Special Ant Evolution Systems currently implemented in the game, Pioneer and Explorer, and in this section we will dive into them to examine the specifics of each one. Each system shares most things in common with slightly different flavoring. For example, the amount of Leaf and Crystal resources needed to upgrade to a particular level in the same amount for each system, but the specific Leaf and Crystal required is unique to each system. Similarly, both systems have 6 slots that give the same type and amount of buffs but with different special orange ants needed for each system. On the other hand, there are some constants between systems, like ascending in both systems requires 50 lava cores and provide the same value of bonuses.

Evolution Skill - Pioneering Power[]

Level Description
Level I In the No.2, 4, 6 rounds, all enemy squads have a 100% chance to take 100% evolution damage.
Level II In the No.2, 4, 6 rounds, all enemy squads have a 100% chance to take 125% evolution damage.
Level III In the No.2, 4, 6 rounds, all enemy squads have a 100% chance to take 150% evolution damage.
Level IV In the No.2, 4, 6 rounds, all enemy squads have a 100% chance to take 150% evolution damage. After dealing evolution damage, heals a random one of our squads with a healing ratio of 100%
Level V In the No.2, 4, 6 rounds, all enemy squads have a 100% chance to take 150% evolution damage. After dealing evolution damage, heals a random one of our squads with a healing ratio of 125%
