Force of Tides is one of the Four-Seasons Themed events which lasts seven days, preceeded by Force of Nature and followed by Force of Desert. During the event, rulers can perform common activities for a chance to receive Fragment of Shell, and complete daily tasks to earn additional Fragments and resources. Defeating wild creatures during the event rewards rulers with Insect Remains which may contain bait to lure a Crab, which can then be rallied for additional Fragments and resources. Fragments can turned in for the event's ultimate rewards: anthill skins and ornaments, large amounts of resources, eggs, and diamonds.
Gather Shells[]
During the event, any time a ruler completes a qualifying action they have a chance to receive a Fragment of Shell, up to 80 times per day. These actions are:
- Wild Hunting - defeat any non-player creature, whether rallied or not
- Gather resources - gathering from resource nodes
- Use diamonds - each use, no matter how big or small
- Use speedups - each use, no matter how big or small. Using the one-tap speedup counts as one use.
Treasure Beach[]
Over the first five days of the event, three additional sets of tasks will open that can be completed at any time until the end of the event, providing a total of 80 tasks. Five progression rewards can also be claimed as a certain total number of tasks is completed. All rewards, except for Fragment of Shell, vary in both value (ie 150.0K meat) and quantity (ie 150.0K meat x 3) based on the Queen's level at the time the event begins.

King of Shells[]
Throughout the course of the event rulers can defeat 20 Wild Creatures per day to collect Insect Remains. The remains can be opened for a chance to receive Fish Bait, which can be used to lure a Crab. The Crab can then be rallied to receive Fragment of Shell. Crabs will always be level 1, have 100,000 power, and cost 20 stamina to rally. The first Crab defeated each day will reward the ruler with extra rewards; subsequent Crabs will only give basic kill rewards. Only the first 10 Crabs defeated each day will yield rewards.

Transport Shells[]
The ultimate objective throughout this event is to collect Fragment of Shell to turn in. Turning in the fragments earns 100XP towards leveling up the event rewards, with a chance to "crit" for 2x, 3x or even 5x points. The chance for a crit does not depend on the purchase of Premium Rewards nor on how long the Transport button is held down; a single tap can yield a 5x crit. The odds of receiving a crit are not yet known. There are two tiers of rewards, Normal and Premium, which can be earned simultaneously if the ruler chooses to unlock the Premium Rewards for USD $19.99. The rewards appear to be the same for all Queen levels.
